Currently, we are hiring for Pest Control Technician - Additional Services in your area! Our Additional Service Technicians are responsible for providing 5-star customer service while performing our additional services, which include termite, mosquito, insulation, exclusion, German roach, rodent and wildlife removal, flea/tick and bed bug treatments.

For this role, we offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate ($20.00-$21.00 DOE)

Responsibilities

What will I be doing in this position?

We understand that we cannot list every single task that you will do in this position, but below is an overview of our expectations:

 

Additional Service Technicians complete installation of our additional services, which include, but not limited to the following:

  • Provide exclusion and/or manual solutions to building interiors and exteriors of buildings for rodent control
  • Provide remediation services to crawl spaces and attics for rodent control and thermal improvement
  • Accomplish all tasks while utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Work with inspectors to provide the best solutions for customers to help our customers maintain a high quality of life
  • Work effectively and safely with all tools and equipment. Maintain these tools and equipment.
  • Complete all work with the highest degree of respect toward each customer and their property
  • Interact with customers, face-to-face, to explain service features and benefits
  • Follow scheduled routes, communicate with office staff and managers, and maintain accurate and organized service records
  • Regularly operate and maintain a company vehicle while keeping the vehicle and other equipment in clean and working order, while adhering to the Company Vehicle Policy
  • Drive a box truck when required, adhering to DOT and safety requirements in addition to adhering to Company Box Truck Policy
  • Manage inventory, equipment, and tools by reporting to the branch for restocks, and the checking in/out of equipment
  • Have a commitment to safety in all job areas, including driving, service, and training; this includes participation in on-site meetings and trainings

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older (insurance carrier may make some age-based exceptions) and possess an active driver's license with an MVR that meets insurance requirements

  • Have a commitment to safety in all job areas, including driving, service, job site, ladder, roof and training
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday, some Saturdays, and some holidays
  • Must earn and maintain state-required training and licensing (provided)

Strong consideration will be given to the candidates who:

  • Have experience and are comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces and on roofs
  • OSHA certified on ladder safety
  • Have working knowledge and understanding of construction
  • Have basic handy skills and experience working with ladders and power tools
  • Have experience installing and removing insulation
  • Have a pest control license and/or experience working in pest control
