The Senior FP&A Analyst will work with VP of FP&A and interact with all departments within the firm both at the Headquarters in Gilbert AZ, and with the 50+ branches located across the countryThis role’s primary purpose is to provide management with financial and operating information that will most effectively utilize the company’s financial resources to increase profitability and grow the company at an optimal rateThis work is very impactful and is essential to driving the success of our world-class sales team. Each day the Senior FP&A Analyst will work around an incredible team. 

This will be a hybrid position, with attendance a minimum of two days per week at our Gilbert, AZ headquarters required.   

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze trends in KPI’s and profitability for business initiatives and identify risks and improvement plans for gaps. 
  • Identify root causes of variances between budget and actual performance. 
  • Assist in optimizing human and physical resources to achieve financial goals. 
  • Detailed research and analysis of accounting data at the journal entry level. 
  • Assist in completing a centralized data system housing operational and financial data. 
  • Develop rapport and trust with sales and operational leaders. 
  • Determine metrics to gauge optimization levels for human and physical resources. 
  • Summarize key results of analysis for presentation to executive leadership to support business decisions. 
  • Perform quantitative analysis of large operational and financial data sets. 
  • Update forecasts using what-if scenario analysis based on key drivers. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 2-5 years financial planning and analysis experience preferred. 
  • Extensive Excel experience is required. 
  • Power BI and SQL experience highly preferred. 
  • Preferred experience with change management using data driven decision making. 
  • Financial modeling experience with large data sets. 
  • Working knowledge of GAAP accounting. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related area.

  • Compensation range depending on experience: $85,000-125,000 annually with additional compensation opportunities.

Salary Range

USD $80,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
