We are seeking a motivated and analytical Accounting & Treasury Analytics Intern to support the Accounting and Treasury teams with reporting, data analysis, account reconciliations, and financial trend analysis.

This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in accounting, treasury, business analytics, or data analytics who wants hands-on experience working with financial data, reporting, internal controls, and operational analytics within a fast-paced organization.

The intern will assist with identifying trends, anomalies, outliers, reconciliation discrepancies, and opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and financial controls.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Accounting and Treasury teams with recurring and ad hoc reporting.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, outliers, and unusual transactions.
  • Support account reconciliation processes and research reconciling items.
  • Prepare reports related to revenue and operating expenses, cash activity, vendor and payroll transactions, intercompany activity, balance sheet fluctuations, and treasury and banking activity.
  • Perform variance and trend analysis across periods and operational groups.
  • Assist with identifying opportunities to improve controls, reporting accuracy, and processes.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based analytics and support schedules.
  • Support month-end close analytics and special projects.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate or advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with confidential financial information professionally.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial statements preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, SQL, or reporting tools is a plus.
